While this site continues to blossom, the person behind it - me - is in full bloom. I'm doreen, btw - an ever-evolving, curious bird who values freedom over convention, and has the passport to prove it. A humanitarian turned copywriter, I'm a combination of quirk, optimism, good cheer, compassion, enthusiasm, and creativity.
My mission is to serve - to weave the soul of every entrepreneur I work with into the words we create together. There are people out there who need you and that thing you do, as only you can do it. They want to find you, connect with you, and work with you, so that together you can create something new - something beautifully unique. Perhaps that's a business, an experience, a product or offer, or even a new way of thinking, feeling, or understanding.
Whatever your thing is, your reach is only as strong as your words.
And that's where I come in. You see, words are my jam and I've built up quite a collection over the years. From my childhood in New York State. My travels and the years I spent living and working abroad. From fasting for Ramadan in Tunisia to village weddings in Ethiopia to trekking in the Himalayas to dining with Ambassadors in Egypt, I've shared experiences with all kinds of people - across cultures, religions, and in various languages, in nearly 80 countries around the world.
But, like Roquefort and sky diving, words aren't for everyone. And, neither am I.
So, until this site has fully blossomed, the best way for us to get to know each other and figure out if we should work together is to shoot me an email. To start things off, here are two things you might not know about me - my foodgasm is gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and rocket, with a side of pesto, sundried tomatoes, and olives - followed by tiramisu (I'm half-Italian, btw). And, I am freakishly good at remembering names, faces, and small details about people who I've only just met.
